Kimberly Ann Funk, 53, of Morgantown, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024, surrounded by family in the comfort of her home. She was born January 16, 1971, in Greensburg, PA, a daughter of Maxine (Vozel) Yuvan and the late Frank Yost Jr. Kim was a 1989 graduate of Hempfield Area High school. She is survived by her husband of 22 years Lee Funk; sons, Braden and Jacksen Funk; sisters, Mary Beth Hershelman (Michael), Christine Martin; stepsister Jennifer Yuvan; stepbrother Darren Yuvan; stepfather Dave Yuvan; father-in-law Leo Funk; nephews Justin Martin (Breanna), Nicholas Martin, Michael Hershelman, and Max Hershelman; a step niece, great niece, and great nephews as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her sister Grace Yost, grandparents Max and Agnes Vozel, and mother-in-law Mary Ellen Funk. Kim enjoyed spending time with her family, pampering her dogs Karma and Isla, and tending to her beautiful houseplants. She will be missed dearly by her friends and family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Make a Wish foundation. Hastings Funeral Home has been entrusted with cremation arrangements.
