Thinking of all of your family at this time. When I told Lori of her death, Lori said "she was an important person in my life". Lori is now vice president of a firm that builds affordable housing in Seattle. Her time in Rainbow has had a lifetime effect and Polly was one of the people that lead her. We say, Thanks. Sylvia and Lori McEwuen

I knew Polly and Ralph through the Presbyterian church. She was a remarkable woman with many talents. I was lucky enough to co-run the Presbyterian Campus Ministry program at WVU with her after Tom Miller left. She was active in so many things and provided leadership and counseling to a young college student. Unfortunately, I haven't had the opportunity to keep in touch with so many people like Ralph and Polly after moving to Atlanta. Something I am trying to be more mindful of as I get older. She will be missed by so many people in the community. My condolences, prayers and love go out to her family. Godspeed Polly!

Polly, I have looked up to you my entire life. Your strength, kindness and spirit will live in my heart until we meet again. Your encouragement and support have been invaluable in my life. You may have been my big sister, but you were also my friend. Thank you. I love you.

Over the years, I was always impressed by the outstanding talent she had for writing and sharing her thoughts. I now discover that she studied journalism. Few have given as much of themselves to the community and state.
