Dixie Lee (Dailey) Clendenin, 74, of Morgantown passed away at her home on Friday, October 20, 2023. Dixie was born on July 1, 1949 the daughter of the late Thomas and Wanda Dailey. Dixie enjoyed Baking, Gardening, Gambling and spending time with her Grandchildren. Dixie is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Lee Clendenin, Daughter, Marsha Mathess and her husband Chris Mathess, Grandson, Ryan Dixon, Granddaughter, Rachel Stiles and Fiancé, Tavis Dudley (or red). She is also survived by one sister, Dana Davis and one brother, Rick Dailey. In addition to her parents, Dixie is preceded in death by her sister Sharon Kennedy. The family would also like to thank Morgantown Hospice for their exceptional care, especially all the nurses who were angels in disguise. Their kindness meant so much to the family. Friends and family will be received at Nicholson Chapel, 1346 Summers School Rd, Morgantown, WV 26508 on Friday, October 27, from 10 am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 pm. Following the funeral service cremation services will be provided by Hastings Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at a later date by the family.
