Carlene Frances "Peg" Hagar, of Theresa Drive, Morgantown, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2012 at her residence.She was born in Denbow, PA, a daughter of the late Warren Anglin and the late Hattie Beatrice (Work) Anglin.Peg moved to Morgantown from Florida to be closer to her family in 1996. She was a member of the Harner Chapel United Methodist Church, and a proud 75 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Morgantown Chapter 35. In April of 2012 she was honored by the Eastern Starâs Morgantown Chapter and the General Grand Chapter with a service pin for this achievement. She was well known as a product demonstrator for Samâs Club, Wal-Mart and Kroger Supermarkets. She was a veteran of the U.S. Army, Womenâs Army Corp.Survivors include two daughters, Jackie Hagar with whom she made her home, and Diane DeMedici of Morgantown as well as two grandchildren, Nicholas and Megan.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Hagar on December 12, 1989 and one brother, Warren Anglin, Jr..Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-8:30 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at 8:30 PM in the funeral home with Reverend Rick Stackpole officiating. Order of the Eastern Star, Morgantown Chapter 35 will conduct a memorial service at 3:45 PM Wednesday in the funeral home to conclude the afternoon visitation. Mrs. Hagar will then be returned to Winter Haven, FL to be entombed alongside her husband in the Glen Haven Memorial Park.Send condolences online at www.hastingsfuneralhome.com
