William âBillâ Kirk, 83, of Mountain View School Road, Morgantown, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2012, at his residence.William was born in Preston County on June 6, 1929, a son of William âWillyâ and Dolly Reynolds Kirk. He was a member of the Little Country Church. Bill was a truck driver for the Teamsters- North America Drillers for several years. He enjoyed fishing, Nascar and his family. He is survived by his son, William F. Kirk and Brenda Hines of Warren, OH, Billie Jo McCurdy of Grafton Road, Brenda Lee Moyle of Morgantown, five grandchildren, Jennifer Renee Riggle and husband, Adam, Sheila McClain and husband, Thomas, Chad Kirk, Brandi Moyle, and Matthew Moyle, two great grandchildren, Alexis Renee and Logan Matthew. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Kirk, a grandson, Brent Matthew Kirk, brother, Charlie Kirk and special sister, Laurie Daft. Family and friends will be received at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Westover on Friday, August 31, from 11am to 1 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday afternoon with Rev. Elmer "Scoop" Nicholson officiating. Interment will follow in the Mausoleum where military rites will be accorded. Send condolences online at www.hastingsfuneralhome.com.
