Obituary of Ida Fodor

Ida Florence (Yankavitch) Fodor, 96, a long time resident of Booth and Beverly, West Virginia died March 4, 2012, in her assisted living facility in Bel Air, MD. She was born June 1, 1915, in Dubois, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Frank and Mathilda Yankavitch. She is survived by four daughters Dorothy Lima of North Olmsted, Ohio, Shirley Helmick of Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania, Barbara Bracken of Bel Air, Maryland and Pamela Bates of Beverly, West Virginia nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, John in 1996, as the last sibling, she was predeceased by her eight brothers and sisters. Friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, from 11 a.m until the time of the funeral service at 12 noon on Thursday, March 8, with Very Rev Mark Ward, C.P., VF officiating. Burial will follow in Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Westover.
