Dear Greg & Joe, So sorry to learn of Bill's passing. His friendship has meant a lot to me for at least 60 years. I remember our rides to Albany on the Jamrich project in the late 50s. I remember also a Phi Delta Kappa play that Bill wrote for the new members at Michigan State. As you might know it was a call from Bill that opened the job at OU for my application. We were happy colleagues for my first year at OU. Thank you for letting me know of his passing. Many happy memories still last.

My sympathy to Bill's family. He was dean when I was hired in 1974 and we always had an interesting and often entertaining relationship up to and after his retirement. Bill will be missed. His humor and insight were much appreciated.

Our sincere sympathy to Bill''''s family and friends. 38 years ago Bill hired David as a faculty member in the Education Dept. at WVU. He and Jane welcomed us warmly into the community. Our gourmet group was "one of a kind" with laughter and great conversation. He was "one of the good guys," and we will miss him at future community and WVU functions. We are out of town, but we will be thinking of all of you. Kaye and David McCrory

Monahan FamilyI wish it were possible to be with you at this time. Unfortunately, I now live in Kissimmee, Florida. Please know that your father was a very special friend and a tremendous colleague. He and I played many games of golf together at the Pines. More important to me was the counsel he provided me when I was a rookie academic dean (School of PE). He enabled me to get through many difficult situations with both the administration and the faculty. It has to be somewhat comforting to you to know that he is now with his wonderful wife again. He has missed her so very much.Best wishes to you. Bill Douglas
