Sara Grace (Watts) Maust, 94, passed away Saturday Oct. 8th, 2011, at the Benton House Assisted Living Facility in Covington, Ga.Born July 18th, 1917, she lived most of her life on the Van Voorhis Rd., Morgantown, W.Va. She was one of three children of the late William Charles and Lillian Idella (Menear) Watts. She was a retired telephone operator for the Chesapeake & Potomac Telephone Co. with 33 years of service and a member of the Telephone Pioneers. She also had worked at the Monongalia General Hospital in her early years and was a member of the Drummond Chapel United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Albert Maust, son Richard Gene Maust. sister Marna Virginia (Watts) Stiles and brother Norman Andrew Watts. She is survived by her daughter Donna June Maust and son Sherrill (aka Mickey) L. Maust residing in Covington, Ga., grandson William Landon Carroll and wife Amanda, and great grand-daughter Ashleigh Nicole Carroll of Marietta, Ga. Nephew Donald Stiles and wife Sandy. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home on Thursday, Oct. 13th from 1:00 - 3:00 pm. A graveside service will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens with Pastor Bob Feathers officiating.
