Kathleen Hennessey, 73, of Smithtown Road, Morgantown, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2011, at home. She was born January 23, 1938 in Washington, DC, a daughter of the late Archibald and Maria Barbot Keegin.Kathleen was a member of the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.She retired from the Mon County Soil Conservation Service, and a volunteer at the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center where she pushed the tea cart. She is survived by her husband of 53 years Edward Hennessey, two sons and spouses, Kevin Edward Hennessey and Allison Matthews Hennessey, Bryon Keegin Hennessey and Jana Schramm Hennessey grandchildren Emma Elizabeth Hennessey and Katelynn JoAnne Hennessey brother, Michael Keegin and sister, Patricia Keegin Morris and husband, Robert Morris and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Keegin.Friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home 153 Spruce St., Morgantown from 2-4 and7-9p.m Wednesday, October 5. A scriptural wake service will be held at 8:30pm on Wednesday in the funeral home to conclude visitation. Visitation will continue at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church on Thursday, October 6 from 10am until the 11am Mass of Christian Burial with V. Rev. Mark G. Ward, CP, VF as Celebrant. Interment at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 122 S.
