Robert "Bob" Glen McIntire, 69, of Morgantown, passed away Monday, September 26, 2011, at Ruby Memorial Hospital.Bob was born in Fairmont on May 5, 1942, the son of the late Glen and Mary (Terlosky) McIntire.He was Roman Catholic by faith. Bob served as a radio repairman in U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He loved his family and country tremendously he also found great enjoyment working with electronics and hand radios. Bob is survived by a son David McIntire, a daughter, Sadie McIntire both of Morgantown, a brother, Patrick McIntire of Bruceton Mills, two sisters, Mary Ann Fisher of Morgantown, and Karen Rush of Mt. Vernon, OH. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, WV on Wednesday, September 28 from 5-8 PM. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday morning September 29, at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Fairmont with Very Rev. Fa. Mark Ward, CP, VF officiating. Full military honors will be accorded at the gravesite with members of VFW Post 548 and WVANG Military Funeral Honors Group, Camp Dawson, Kingwood, WV. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to VFW Post 548, 494 Spruce Street, Morgantown, WV 26505.
