Freda Georgie Gamble, 81, of Morgantown, passed into the arms of her Lord on Monday, September 5, 2011.Freda was born in Morgantown on February 16, 1930, the daughter of the late Daniel Webster Clark and Rachel Elizabeth Turner Clark.She enjoyed drawing, going to church, singing gospel music and talking to anyone she met about the saving grace of Jesus. She worked for several years as a custodian at the Department of Energy and at the new Ruby Memorial Hospital preparing it for opening. She also enjoyed birds and bird houses, as well as flowers and gardening.Freda will be missed by her babies â" her dog, Ginger, and her cat, Jean.She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Myers and husband, Willard and Linda Blosser all of Aaronâs Creek Rd. and Beverly Riffon and husband, Stephen of the Kingwood Pike one sister Agnes Cook, eight grandchildren, Richard Thompson Jr. and wife, Kathy, Johnny Thompson and wife, Chris, Tina Huskey and husband, Lonnie, Bobbi Jo Mitchell and husband, Joseph, Danny Myers and wife, Bonnie, Penny Shriver and husband, Ron, Rhonda Blosser and Selena Allison and husband, Steven, 14 great-grandchildren Richard III, Betty, Danny, Kristen, Joshua, Jonathan, Joey, Zachary, Steven, Leah, Christian, Chyanna, MaKayla, and Wyatt, as well as two great-great grandchildren Tashon and Serenity. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar Gamble in 1993, a son-in-law Glennis Blosser, 5 brothers, Woodrow, Ralph, Benny, Ernest, and Thurl, and one granddaughter, Dawn Riffon. Friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, from 3-8pm on Thursday, September 8, and again on Friday, September 9 from 11am until the 12 Noon funeral service with Pastor John Miker officiating.
