Obituary of Aldo Rinaldi

Aldo J. Rinaldi, 86, of Morgantown, passed away Friday, June 3, 2011 at his residence.Aldo was born in Charleston on February 15, 1925, the son of the late Joseph Rinaldi and Adele Maracci Rinaldi.He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II serving in Germany. Aldo was the founder and started the Morgantown Cable Company in the early 60âs. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Lillian Petitte Rinaldi, daughter, Karen Cowan and husband Michael of North Carolina grandchildren, Jillian Cowan and Alexander Cowan sister, Leda Duff of Star City and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown Sunday, June 5 from 1-4PM. again on Monday, June 6 from 4-7pm. Visitation will continue at St. Mary Catholic Church, Star City, Tuesday, June 7 from 12:30-1:30 PM A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 PM Tuesday afternoon in the church with Father John V. DiBacco as Celebrant. Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Peace Garden Mausoleum.
