Obituary of Roy Hagedorn

Roy Lawrence âBillâ Hagedorn, 82, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2011, at the Southwest Regional Medical Center Waynesburg, PA.Bill was born in Dellslow on December 4, 1928, the son of the late Carl Albert and Nellie Lucille Nuce Hagedorn.He was Christian by faith. Bill was co-owner with his wife Rachel Hagedorn and son Randy of Hagedornâs Gas Service. He enjoyed fly fishing and hunting. Bill was a hard working man who enjoyed being around people. He is survived by his wife, Rachel Martin Hagedorn, his children Carl Randy Hagedorn and wife Rebecca of Pixler Hill Road, Tim Hagedorn and wife Pam of Imperial View and Cathy Sue Lazzell of Lakeside Estates, his grandchildren Kris Hagedorn and wife Jennifer, Matt Hagedorn and wife Mary, Holly Miller and husband Dustin, Tim Hagedorn II and wife Maria, Luke Hagedorn and wife Amy, Adrianne Sims and husband Dave, Rob Lazzell, Emily Lazzell, Lawrence Tyler Lazzell, Jonathon Lazzell, Christopher Lazzell and Michael Lazzell, 12 great-grandchildren, a brother, Don Eddy Hagedorn of FL, Eileen Smith and husband Stan of CO, and a sister-in-law, Frances Hagedorn of Dellslow as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Calvin Hagedorn. Friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, from 6-8pm on Thursday, Feb. 24, from 12noon-2pm and 6-8pm on Friday, Feb. 25, and again from 10-11am on Saturday, Feb. 26. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 11am on Saturday, with Pastor Doug Strother and Vicar Lee Martin officiating. Interment will follow at 1pm Saturday, in Lake Of The Woods Cemetery, Bruceton Mills.",199752
