Dear Dan and Family, As I write this I am sadly missing your Father's funeral. As I have told you many times, I truly loved Nick as a member of my family, as a man who was so full of love and God's spirit. I can honestly say that I have never met anyone that I felt so close to immediately. He was truly a brilliant man in the ways of life and love. I have a perfect written remembrance of him in the genealogical study he so beautifully wrote for me and my family. I will keep it in my heart always. Take care of, and continue to love each other. With Much Love, Marie

Diane and Marcia, Dan and Mrs. Oliver your father and husband was a unique individual whom I will always remember. As a child hearing him ring the bell in front of your house to get my fathers attention and antagonize him. As a teenager receiving a websters collegiate dictionary upon attaining the rank of Eagle Scout. The Nick Oliver autographed copy is in my bookcase. To working with him at whatever function, church or civic that he may have been involved in. I will always remember him. You are all in our prayers.

Dear Mary and family,Nick is on his way to the Promised Land...This poem is for Nick. The Other SideCross over the river.Yes, get to that other side.A new home you will findAnd there you will abideLet the light guide you.Oh, what marvels you will see.A new dawn is awaitingAnd there you shall be free.Let your baggage stay behind. You will need them no more.Everything new will be givenWhen you reach that other shore. There is a room in the mansion,And your loved ones are waiting there. And all the poeple will greet youTo let you know they care.Give priases and shout hallelujahAs you enter the Promised Land.Your footing is now on firm foundation--Not on loose gravel or sinking sand.Wirtten by Tom OliverGospel of John Chapter 14Verse 2: In my Father's house are mansions. I go to prepare a place for you.Verse 3: And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself
