Mary Louise Uphold, 75, of Daybrook, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2011. Mary was born in Maidsville on February 6, 1935, the daughter of the late John and Opal Richards Bonivich.She was a homemaker, loved dogs, enjoyed gardening, canning and crocheting. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Charles Uphold, her children, Joseph A. Tomago and wife, Martha of Westover, Virginia Mills and husband, Robert of Westover and Deborah Smith and husband, Bill of Warren, OH, six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, her brother Robert Bonivich and wife, Phyllis and her sister, Francis Conway and husband, Elmer âCubâ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Mary Jo Tomago and her brothers, John and William Bonivich.Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Sunday, January 23 from 2-4pm & 6-8pm and from 10-11am on Monday, January 24. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Chaplain James R. Riggs, Fairmont General Hospital Chaplain officiating. Interment will follow in Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, Westover.
