I am so sorry that I was not able to attend the memorial for Dr. Morgan. My mother has not been well and I was with her on Sunday.Please know that Dr. Morgan will be deeply missed by me and my family. Dear Claudia,I send my sincere condolences to you and your husband's family at this difficult time. Dr. David was such a wonderful man. I had bumped into him a few times recently riding his scooter around and looking quite fit. I hope that he was able to do the things he wanted until the end. He was such a gift to this community with his friendly manner and caring for people who were sick. His clinic went a long way to keep people alive and functioning well long after their they thought their useful days were gone. I shall miss his smiling face and winning ways. Mary Jane, We knew Dave through you and enjoyed being with you both. One of the favorite memories of Dave was attending the course he taught at Olie. I enjoyed it so much and recommended the Dr. Seuss book many times. We are so sorry to hear he has died and will pray for you both.

Hello Mary Jane and the rest of the Morgan family. I am deeply saddened to consider that DZ has left you, and the people of the state of WV and the family of Mountaineers. He was a wonderful man, with a great, caring heart. He was a great help to me in my life and career, and I will always be grateful to have known him, and all of you.
