LaVonne was truly one of a kind, and I am deeply saddened by her passing. I worked with her for three years, and she saw to it that all of us - essentially her children and extended family - were taken care of. I'd want my daughter to grow up to be just like her. Rest In Peace, dear friend. You will always be close in our hearts, and your family is forever in our prayers.

Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. I worked for the Dominion Post from 1985 until 1991 and was fortunate to have worked iin the newsroom with LaVonne. Her quiet competence and high standards helped guide many, many people. She was a remarkable human being.I was gone from Morgantown until recently and I was not aware of LaVonne's illness. I am sorry I wasn't able to let her know how much I respected her.My best to you and your family,Nancy Abrams

Dear Justin, I never met you or LaVonne in person, but you have sent me the directory to the AGO several times, I believe. I play the organ at the Glenville Presbyterian Church. I just want you to know that my thoughts are with you and I will pray for you to be strong. Sincerely, Bonnie

LaVonne was one of the dearest women I have ever known. She was kind and thoughtful, and she was always ready to help. I will remember sharing time with her in the kitchen, at apple butter time, at various church/UMW activities, and the PQM room. It was always a comfort to hear her sweet voice when she answered the phone at church. Bill and I will miss sharing the pew with her. We will hold the family in prayer.Love,Bertha Romine

Arlyn and I are saddened by LaVonne's passing. We selfishly wanted to have her in our lives for longer. She was a true and gentle lady. LaVonne had the ability to bring out the best in those around her. We will always remember her and the impact she had in so many ways at Suncrest, always for the good. And so we say,"Thank you God,for LaVonne
