Obituary of Robert Tonon

Robert "Bob" Tonon, Jr., 66, of Greer, SC formerly of Lake Street, Morgantown passed away Monday, Feb. 11, 2013. He was born in Morgantown, the son of the late Robert Tonon, Sr. and Lena Orlando Tonon. Bob graduated from Morgantown High School in 1965 and was a WVU graduate. He played basketball at Morgantown High School, he coached Babe Ruth Baseball and was a former St. Francis High School championship basketball coach. He worked with his family in the operation and management of Tony's Restaurant, Red Cellar and real estate properties. He was a former member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, and a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Greer, SC. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Morgantown and was the past Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus, Council 9184. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Reynolds and husband Russell of Simpsonville, SC; two grandchildren, Davis James and Blair Elizabeth Reynolds; a sister, Renee Witt and husband John of Morgantown and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Family and friends will be received at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013 from 9:30am until the time of the Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am with Fr. John V. DiBacco as Celebrant. Inurnment will follow in St. Mary's Peace Garden Mausoleum, Morgantown. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, P.O.
