I'll always remember Don from the days I used to sleep over night with him and Cindy and start crying in the middle of the night to go home. Don would get up; get dressed and drive me home. I remember Don for the times he took me squirrel hunting. I also remember times when I would want to spend the night with Don and Cindy. I would get upset (of course in the middle of the night) and want to go home. Don would get up in the middle of the night and drive me home with no complaints ever. Loved ones live on in words they said, in lives they touched, and in the happiness we feel every time we remember them. When I think of my Brother Donald, I think of when Donald and Cindy first started dating, we would sing to them "Donald and Cindy - sitting in a tree kissing". I think of how particular he was about having a clean shiny car. I know when anyone would get a new car they would always take it for brother to see, and they would always make sure it was clean for his inspection. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather brother, and friend. He was as proud as a peacock of his children, granchildre, and of course we can't forget his new Gator,his pride and joy the blue international truck. He would always call his siblings on their birthdays, and always tell you he loved you. Cindy you and Donald spend many happy years together, and you were help-mates to each other. Teresa and Jenny - alwyas remember this verse your daddy would tell you Matthew 5-9 Blessed are the Peacemakers for they shall be the children of God. You both know how much your dad loved you,your children, and husbands. The most important thing he left for us to follow in his footsteps - would to read the word of God - it is our road map to our Journey Home to meet him and our loved ones again. God Bless you Cindy, Teresa, Scott, Trenton, and Austin. God Bless you Jenny, Mike, Becky. When times get sad, and they will - Just Remember that wonderful smile your Dad always had on his face. Uncle Donald, as heavy as our hearts are on this sad day, I fugure there r many loved ones with huge smiles on their faces as you walk through the pearly gates of Heaven. For Heaven has truly gained a wonderful angel today. i know mom already misses you so much, your long phone conversations, and the breakfasts that you two have shared. So, you can do one last favor for your "sis" give my dad a kiss and a hug from mom and me, and tell him we miss and love him so much. I will always hold a special spot in my heart for you, and that wonderful grin you always had, and that wonderful laugh that you would give after one of your stories. Daddy, You are and always have been the greatest most awesome man I know. As much as Jenny and I would say ewww when you and mommy held hands and kissed, I would give everything I have to see it again. We are the luckiest two girls in the world to have such great parents. You taught us how to love; you taught us to have faith; you taught us all the beautiful things that life has to offer. I'll always remember Don coming to the house to pick up Cindy for a date. I think it was a 1964 Chevrolet a beautiful Aqua Blue. All the young men that lived on our road always seemed to be in the vacinity everytime Don showed up. They were in such awe of that car that Don also became a Hero.
