Obituary of Betty Loraine Greco

Betty L. "Bea" Lewis Greco, 79, of West Main St., Westover passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Sundale Nursing Home. Betty was born October 24, 1933 in Preston County, WV; a daughter of the late Howard "Mutt" Lewis and Helen Galusky Lewis. She was employed for many years in the dietary departments at the Old Mon General Hospital and Morgan Manor Nursing Home. She also worked as a sales associate at J. C. Penney's at Morgantown Mall. She enjoyed many years of volunteering for the United Way, In Touch and Concerned and Monongalia General Hospital. In addition to her parents Betty was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald "Ponch" Lewis. She is survived by her husband, Michael Greco; her sister, Marilyn Lewis Nuce of Morgantown and a brother, Howard Lewis, Jr. of Ohio. In honoring her wishes, Mrs. Greco will be cremated. Family and friends will be received at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Star City on Saturday, March 23rd from 10:00 until the celebration of the Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM with Fr. John V. DiBacco as Celebrant. Inurnment will follow in St. Mary's Peace Garden Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mrs. Greco's memory may be made to the Auxiliary of Mon General, Remembrance , 1200 J.D.
