Obituary of Mary Blaney

Mary Ann Blaney, 80, of Morgantown, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at her residence. She was born in Bayard, WV on March 8, 1933, the daughter of the late Harry McAtee and the late Virginia (Cooper) McAtee. Mary Ann was a loving and devoted wife, mother and homemaker who loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Robert A. Blaney, her three children; Robert R. S. Blaney of Orlando, FL, David H. Blaney and wife Manuela of Gambrills, MD, and Erin Blaney Fourhman and husband Eric W. Fourhman of Glenville, PA. Grandchildren include Mathew S. Blaney, Megan E. Blaney, and Ethan P. Blaney all of Maryland; and Andrew R. Fourhman of Glenville, PA. Cousins include James Cooper of Morgantown, and Mary Lee Tennant and Jim Tennant of Mt. Morris, PA. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her sister, Joy Ann Merrill. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 from 6-8 PM. Mrs. Blaney will be moved to Suncrest United Methodist Church in the old Drummond Chapel in Morgantown on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 where visitation will continue from 12 PM until the time of service at 1 PM with Rev. Tim W. Halloran officiating. Interment will follow in Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, Westover. Send condolences online at www.hastingsfuneralhome.com.
