Tenna Inge Andersson Myles Tenna, who died on May 2, 2013, in Morgantown, was born on October 20, 1920, in Copenhagen, Denmark. Tenna was a daughter of the late Helga Agnite Eduard Andersson and Ernst Fredrik Andersson. Her name is engraved on the Immigrants' Wall of Ellis Island, New York, where she and her family entered the United States in 1924. She became a naturalized citizen in 1946. The last surviving member of her immediate family, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-five years, Joseph Harlan "Bus" Myles, Jr., May 16, 2005. She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Arthur Lewis Cash, August 25, 1987. A life member of the West Virginia Garden Club, the National Garden Club and the Emma Scott Garden Club of Elkins, West Virginia, she chaired numerous flower shows and won many awards for her floral designs. She was a member of the Senior Monongalians Bridge Club and the Morgantown Newcomers Club. A gracious hostess and cook, her floral artistry always enhanced the dining room table. She contributed time and energy to countless church and community activities including decades of baking for PTA, Bible School and especially for her appreciative, loving family. Family Christmas traditions and foods are especially influenced by her Danish heritage. Her Scrabble skills challenged her family who continue the tradition via internet. Tenna is survived by daughter, Grethe Myles and her husband, Tom Witt, with whom she made her home. Also surviving are her daughter Catherine Cash of Tucson, AZ, granddaughters Amanda Cory Cash, Tucson, AZ; Hannah Catherine Cash, Burbank, CA, great-grandsons Myles Arthur, John Francis and Graham Alphonse Caldwell; daughter Christine Hasbrouck and her husband James Hasbrouck of Blackstone, VA, grandsons Shann Ryan White and his wife Amy White, and great-grandchildren Jacob Ryan, Joel Tate and Abigail Tenna White; Benjamin Kelsey White and wife Danielle White, great- granddaughters Tenna Kelsey and Adeline Renee White; and daughter Lisa Borkowski and her husband Gregory Borkowski, of Napoleon, OH, and granddaughters Andrea Rose and Sarah Noelle Borkowski. Tenna's family will greet friends in the hour preceding the service at the church.
