I was very to sorry to hear about Dave's death. I visited the Snack Shack often and he was a gracious and friendly man. Many years ago I had a flat tire on the trail and he fixed it for free, and wouldn't accept any payment. The only thing I could think to do was to later leave some new tire kits to replenish his supply. I know many of us will miss seeing him on the trail. May God bless him. Bill
first of all my husband Donnie worked with dave at davis construction so I knew him from where him and my husband worked together and then we rode bikes up the trail I said lets turn around and go back my husband said lets ride on up to daves store and get something to drink well we did and the store was closed but dave seen us coming and came to open the store so we could get something to drink we got our drinks and was getting ready to start back dave said all you better rest for awhile I do not wat Donnie passing out on you on the way back we sit with him for about 30 minutes and enjoyed every minute of it so sorry for your loss he was a good man
