Obituary of Jennifer Carter Livingston

Jennifer Carter Livingston, 41, of Brunswick Ct., Morgantown, passed away Monday, July 22, 2013 at Ruby Memorial Hospital of Morgantown, WV after a very courageous four year battle with cancer. Jennifer was born in Waycross, GA on January 17, 1972, a daughter of Willene Johnson Carter who survives her in Waycross, GA, and the late W.F. Carter, Jr.. Jennifer was an accomplished classically trained pianist, having taught, played and performed all of her life. She attended Calvary Chapel of Morgantown where she was involved with the music ministry. She loved animals - especially cats. She also loved being in the outdoors, hiking, walking along river trails and was very adventurous. Jennifer will be remembered best as a kind and gentle spirit - but always kept a twinkle of mischief in her eyes. In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband of nine years, Andrew Scott Livingston; one brother, Michael Carter and his wife April of Blackshear, GA; one sister, Carol Parker and her husband Steve of Waycross, GA, and several nieces. In honoring Jennifer's wishes, she will be cremated. A gathering of friends and family to celebrate Jennifer's life will be held at Calvary Chapel of Morgantown, 493 Tyrone Rd., Morgantown on Friday, July 26th from 5:30 until the time of the memorial service at 6:30 with Pastor Shawn Fraser officiating.
