Obituary of Gladys Louise Fulton

Gladys Louise Fulton, 85, of Park St., Morgantown, passed away Friday evening, August 30, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Parkersburg, W.V, on July 29, 1928, the daughter of the late Marcus Weil and the late Cora Mabel (Creel) Weil.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Frank Fulton, Jr.; five children, David Fulton and his wife Cheryl of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; Lynne Gianola and her husband John of Charleston, WV; Leanne Cravens of Panama City, Fl; Mary Lou Wellman and her husband Stan of Richmond, Va.; and John Fulton and his wife Denise of Kensington, Md.; thirteen grandchildren, Jeffrey and Joseph Fulton; John and Jason Gianola; Katie Yori, Cory, and Chelsey Cravens; Matthew, Sarah, and Sam Wellman; and Anne, Catherine Louise, and Thomas Fulton; and ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Harry, and Marcus Weil.
Louise was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Morgantown.
She worked as an administrative assistant in the Mountainlair at West Virginia University for many years. She loved her family and friends and had a great sense of humor. She enjoyed painting, playing bridge and piano as well as cooking. She spent many hours playing video games and board games with her grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, One Guthrie Lane, Morgantown, WV on Monday, September 2 from 6-8 PM. A Scriptural Wake Service will be held at 7:30 PM Monday evening in the church to conclude the visitation. Visitation will continue in the church on Tuesday, September 3rd from 10 AM until the celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM with Very Rev. Fr. Mark Ward, CP, VF as celebrant. Interment will follow in the East Oak Grove Cemetery, Morgantown.
