Obituary of Junior Anthony Zannier

Junior A. Zannier, loving husband, father and grandfather, 66, of Morgantown passed away Monday, Dec. 30, 2013 at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
He was born August 30, 1947 in Morgantown, WV the son of the late Tony and Mary Ann Mazzi Zannier.
He was a member of St Theresa Roman Catholic Church and receiving communion from St. John University Parish. He attended St. Francis Elementary School, Morgantown Jr. High and graduated from Morgantown, High School.
He was previously a member of the Granville VFD for several years and most recently volunteered at Clinton District VFD when needed. He played darts and pool as well as bowled on several leagues and enjoyed taking in a round of golf with family and friends. He and Linda enjoyed attending the "Oldies Performer Concerts" at The State Theatre in Uniontown, PA seeing Bobby Rydell on November 23, 2013.
He was employed for 25 years at West Virginia Paper Co. He worked for Air Bourne Express and Air Cargo, out of Pennsylvania. He retired from Lowe's of Westover in 2008. After retirement he became a full time Pappy.
He is survived by his wife Linda Boone Zannier and children, daughter Brandy and husband Danny Corob of Morgantown, son Christopher Zannier and wife Jennifer of Morgantown and son Michael Fike and wife Elizabeth of Wilmington, NC. and brother Joe Spino and wife Joeann of Stowe, OH. He is survived by his mother-in-law, Barbara Boone, sister-in-law, Cathie Boone and her companion Richard Morris of Morgantown and brother-in-law and wife, Ed and Danita Boone; grandchildren, Kylie and Paige Corob, Makayla Golden, and Brandon and Sean Fike. Also survived by, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his twin brother, William Zannier, brother, Tony Spino and sisters Mary Jane Wright and Rose Spenik, and father-in-law, Virgil Boone.
Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home on Friday, January 3 from 3-5 and 7-9pm The funeral service will be held at the funeral home Saturday, Jan. 4th at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. John J. Peck, O.S.B. officiating. Interment will be held in East Oak Grove Cemetery.
