Obituary of John Francis Shemiloff

John Shemiloff, 54, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Washington, PA on March 13, 1959, the son of the late Nick Shemiloff and the late Frances (Kesman) Shemiloff. John previously served in the United States Army and worked as a Diesel Mechanic for many years. In his free time, he loved fishing, camping and playing poker. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. John is survived by his companion of 34 years, Jeannine Molisee of Morgantown; his daughter, Janet Shemiloff-Fry and her husband William of Rivesville; grandchildren, Elizabeth Nicole Fry and William Maxwell Fry; brothers, Larry Shemiloff and his wife April and Wayne Shemiloff and his companion Carla Gust. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Linda Shemiloff. In keeping with John's wishes, cremation services will be performed by the Hastings Funeral Home in Morgantown. Friends and family are invited to visit the Hastings Funeral Home on Sunday, February 23, 2014 from 2 PM until the time of the memorial service at 3 PM with Rev. Dr. Michael C. Richards officiating.
