I know this is very long overdue but this is the first time I've seen Jerry's obituary. I worked at Cheat Lake Animal Hospital during that time as the Boarding Receptionist and got to meet Missy. I hope this will be good news to Jerry's family and friends..... I brought Missy to my house about 2 days after Jerry's passing and she's been here ever since! She turned 7 years old this past April 20. She lost 2 of her sisters, one to kidney failure and the other to cardiac arrest this past March only 9 days apart. But Missy is doing very well and she's been a joy to have. She sleeps in bed with me. I only work very part time so she has very little time alone in the house. I do hope someone sees this so the family and friends can know that Missy is great! I've even wondered if Jerry can look down at his girl and see how happy she is in her new forever home. I'm truly sorry for the loss of Jerry. Liz Perry
