You don't know me, but I can truly say I know what you are going through right now. My name is Molly Vannoy, and I lost my son, age 24, on May 14, 2014. As my heart is crushed and broken, I am sure yours is as well. I just wanted to tell you that I care, I feel for you, and that I include your son in my prayers.
Your son was a handsome young man, and I'm sure was the light of your life. Prayers to all of you as you deal with this horrible ache and void in your life.

Zack was such a wonderful young man. I had the privilege of being Zack's 4th grade teacher several years ago. My memories of him are precious. He was kind, caring, polite, compassionate to others, funny, and a true joy to know. My heart is so heavy. My love and prayers are with you.

Our hearts have been broken and anguished since we heard the news Sunday. My daughters went to school with/knew your son…one 10th and one 8th. They both spoke of how nice he was during the times they may have interacted with him, popular, many friends, football player and stories from their friends who knew him better than they did, all positive and kind yet all saddened with grief. My girls are sad and confused. My 8th grader wrote a story as her project today in his honor for her class hoping to turn a tragedy into something positive. I cannot as a mother imagine a pain more severe than what you are going through. My heart grieves with you and I can only express my deepest sorrow. You and your family have been, continue to be and will remain in our prayers. We pray that you and yours may somehow gain some sort of peace and comfort by God's Grace. My daughter was friends with Zack and was actually snap chatting with him earlier that evening. We have moved to Florida and will not be able to attend the funeral. Zack actually came to school this year and had" homecoming?" written on his chest and that is how he asked my daughter! Ill never forget that and neither will she! She is heartbroken. May God be with you and the family at this time and may Zack rest in the arms of angels!
