Charlie, Kristin and Family,
My heartfelt sorrow at your loss. I'm heartbroken and devastated by the news.
I worked with Jo Ann for the last five years, and even though I am located in Oregon I did get to meet and spend time with her for a few days. Her fire, energy and passion for her family, friends and work were amazing and awe-inspiring. She has been a force for so long and was the heart and soul of the library. She was the best of us. She touched so very many lives and made us better which is such a rare gift. No matter how silly my question or problem was she would always help, answer and explain.
While people come in and out of our lives over the years - we will never forget. Time passes. Memories fade. Feelings change. People leave. But hearts never forget. And we will never forget.
May God welcome her with his gentle, widespread arms as she crosses the Rainbow Bridge. She above all deserves absolutely nothing less.

I worked with Joann up until my retirement in Dec 2013. Joann and I talked about her father and his love for the Steelers. I gave Her father a pair of Steelers socks and Joann told me he always wore them during the Steelers games.
Joann will be sadly missed. Please accept my condolences and sympathies of the loss of your wife and mother.
Joann was a good friend to me, and she will be sadly missed.

She will be truly missed by all who knew her. We had so many good childhood memories from the North Braddock Minorettes, to hopscotch for hours in front of 1307 Grandview Ave., to vacations together, to playing Barbies in the Corletti "family room." Then, we continued our friendship into our adult lives. We were in each other's weddings. We both went through divorces and re-marriages. Life moved along and even though we didn't see each other, we always had that North Braddock connection, as well as the love for each other and each other's families. We always tried to catch up a few times each year, and truly loved hearing about new jobs, children, then grandchildren, and the trials and tribulations that each of us was enduring. When she was diagnosed, it brought our friendship to a forefront, and keeping in touch was paramount. She fought harder than anyone that I know who has gone through this. I love you Jo Ann, and you continue to be my hero, Debbie

I am very sorry for your loss. My book club lost a vibrant member. Jo Ann's smile could light up the room. She was a well liked member of our book club. In fact, we have her book selection for the upcoming year to look forward to reading. She sent her 3 picks to the selection meeting via a friend.

JoAnn was a hero to all of us. I met in her in kindergarten and have known her most of my life. Her faith in God was so beautiful to see. No matter what obstacle she was up against she met it head on with God at her side. We all have been blessed by just knowing her and her endless posts of courage. Rest in peace JoAnn and may God give you all his glory for your faithfulness. You will me missed but not forgotten.
