I was sad to hear about Barbara’s death. She and I became friends at 4-h camp where we both later worked on the Waterfront together. Great memories my condolences to all of you especially Cathy. God Bless her beautiful spirit

Larry...I am so sorry. I met you at the Beehive in Ky with Scott Ware and would dance with Barb. She would always laugh at me. Two left feet. I was about to order some videos from American Pioneer Videos...saw your name and Morgans Glade...and brought memories. I continued to surf the web and found Barb's obit. I was shocked. I immediately got ahold of Scott. If you don't mind give us a quick narrative of what happened and how you are doing. We are so sad. Barb was my age. Yikes.
Will lift y'all up in prayer. Scott and I will lift a pipe in her honor. If the fort memorial has not been done....let us know.
Your Ky distant friend, Steve

Barbara and I worked often together to help save bees from all of the recent scourges of that important insect. She was one of my Apiculture students and was excellent at handling and understanding honey bees. She has been a long time friend and a great support. We will miss her enthusiasm and her great attitude!

I met Barbara in our early twenties and then, like now, thought of her as a big sister, someone who understands and acts with kindness and respect. I noticed in these condolences that others also regarded her as a sister. It is because Barbara was a wise woman, the only wise woman I have ever known. Tho many of us have wisdom, a wise person is a rarity. I have only wonderful memories of Barbara, and lots of them. But most appropriate here, I remember how she truly loved life and her great strong laugh.
I am struck hard at the news of her death.
Larry…I wish you strength

The harvest moon shone brightly last night, reflecting through my window and awakening me in the early hours. I thought immediately of Barbara. We used to call each other as a reminder to look at the moon. I miss and love you dear friend.

I am so sorry for the pain you are going through. Barb was so energetic, I had few opportunities to get to know her better. But I had great respect for her and was looking forward to enjoying her company and music for years to come. It is a great loss to us all.

Dear Larry, I feel so very bad for you in the loss of your beautiful, dear, caring wife....yes, it is so sad to have paid your dues, and then finally be able to enjoy each other without worries of having to work around work schedules, etc....and then the unthinkable happens !! It seems quite unfair, but, only He knows why ! Treasure your memories...they will keep you going, through the longest days...and nights! She touched so many lives, mine and Bill's included, and she will be sorely missed !! With sincere sympathy, Larry....my tears are overflowing for you !!

Larry and other family members - I can't even begin to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. It just seemed like it was the other day that I was talking to her about the music festival. but unfortunately, I've known extreme grief, and my heart breaks for you! but I'm sure Lewie is playing her some music on the other side. You are in my thoughts and prayers! if you ever need to talk to someone who's been there, please feel free to call! God bless you! And, give a hug to your puppies! With Love and Sympathy,
Sharon Wills Brescoach

There are no words to express my sincere sympathy for your loss. To think, that caring, loyal, funny, wife, mother, sister, and aunt has been taken away from you in such a short time still doesn't seem possible. May the love of friends and family and the beautiful spirit that will remain with you always carry you through your profound loss. Peace and all that is Good, Roxann

I always enjoyed being with Barbara; she was a fun and a caring person. After my husband, Craig died, Percival Hall did a sweet tribute to him by playing one of his favorite tunes at the Winter Music Festival. Barbara came up to sit with me to comfort me and to support me at that time. I will always remember her kind and thoughtful ways.

Our souls were split apart in antiquity, and we spent our lives searching for the other until the blessed day we came together again. Barbara was the mirror of my soul, the love of my life, and we were just beginning to enjoy the reward for the dues we paid. I love you - rest well until we find each other again.
