Love you pop pop. You have affected so many lives in such an amazing way. Christmas passed by without a card from you with your note, 'who loves ya?' and I didn't know how much I would miss that. Funny how such a simple thing can mean so much to me now that you are gone. I wish I was able to have seen you last summer before you passed away. I took so many things for granted and always thought you would be here with me, but now that you are gone... It seems like a nightmare that I just want to wake up from. I will miss your smile, and how your quirky attitude. I didn't know you as well as I would have liked to, but you meant the world to me. Mommy misses you more than words can describe, and I know many others do too. I love you. Rest in peace.

I am sorry I missed the visitation. I just wanted to say that I will miss Stuart. He was kind of a special man. I've been trying to think what it was about him. Well, he was kind of like the South Park weather vane. In New England, they have metal sailing ships or roosters up on the roof. In South Park, though, we'd look up on a nice day and see Stuart, with his strong profile and brown figure. Then we'd know it was a good day.
But what was really special about him, I decided, is that he was a man of his word. If he said he was going to do something, he did it. That is really special in this world today.
And I also know he really enjoyed his grandchildren. I am so sorry you lost him so suddenly and so relatively young. May you grow into peace with this shock and loss.

Stuart was a good man.
He came into our lives during a time of great strength in his own life, and helped our family a great deal. We watched him struggle and succeed, as we all do.
He's someone in my life that I have no doubts would have done anything for our family, and that means a lot.
We had our differences, but I loved him.
At his best, which I will always remember, he was a mentor, teacher, and friend.
I miss him already.

Stuart was a great friend, and was never anything but good to me. He was the hardest working man I have ever met, and I will always respect him because no matter what he was up against, he never quit trying to build the life he wanted for himself. No one who ever met Stuart will ever be able to forget him. I will miss him, and I can't believe he's gone.
