Your dad was like my mom. Accepting non-judgmental and Chtistiian. We loved you all as we were taught. Aunt Ginger lost Rocky as did my mom loose my brother Danny. It hurt our heart as it did for Aunt Ginger. Through the strength of family we came through. Even whEn Aunt Ginger Didn't deal but survived.. my dad dealt with alcoholism as did UnCle George. We came throug it. Today thank you God we are cousins and my mom and her sisters our aunts yours are united. We are very fortunate my mom has her sisterS Ginger and Dixie. I would love to you mo to have a get together this summer. it mY be the last for my mom

I'm so sorry to hear of Choppy's death. I knew and worked with him for over twenty years at Greer. Back in the 1970's I had my camper parked beside his home on Canyon Road while working in the area. His kids, especially Rocky, would stop in and visit. I last saw Choppy at the 2013 Greer picnic. He was a good friend. I was out of town at the time of his passing. My sympathy to his family.

my deepest condolences to family and friends of Choppy. he touched so many lives and was a part of so many lives. hands down loved his Rocky Creek Park and how he shared it with everyone. God bless Mr. Pirlo and the extended Pirlo family. While I never met him personally I saw pictures and heard many heartfelt stories from his Arizona family.

Choppy was really a great person. He lived behind my in-laws on the Tyrone Road. Choppy was always there for them, if they needed anything. He would volunteer to help you, without asking him. My in-laws thought his son Rocky was the just the greatest boy to be around. It is people like Choppy and his family that made America great. They never asked for anything, they just wanted a better life for their families. I am proud to have had Choppy as my friend!
