Cassandra Jane Henry, 70, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born in Morgantown on February 15, 1944, the daughter of Deloris Jane (Dalton) Kennedy of Morgantown and the late Melford Freddie Kennedy. Cassandra was very energetic and outgoing. She never met a stranger. She was strong, opinionated, and outspoken. She was a hairstylist by trade and always dressed to impress. She also loved traveling by RV seeing the country. She is survived by her husband, Gene Henry; children: Richard (Ellen) Jacobs of Morgantown, Joseph Jacobs of Ohio, Barbara (Nathan) Forbes of French Creek, and Ron LaMar (Kandace Collins) of Mineral Wells; grandchildren: Ian, Matthew, Cory, Kaitlyn, Joshua, Jessica, Megan, Garrett, Jaelynn, Olivia, and Kali; great-grandchildren: Molly, Sophia and Sebastian; and brother, Gary (Linda) Kennedy of Wana, WV In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her brother, Steven Kennedy. In accordance with her wishes cremation services will be provided by Hastings Funeral Home. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown on Saturday, January 3, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 3:00 p.m with Nathan Forbes officiating.
