Obituary of Wanda Lucille Dailey- Davidson

Wanda Lucille Dailey-Davidson, 83, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday, February 26th at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 8, 1931 in Monongalia County, a daughter of the late Lester (Nick) and Ada Nicholson Murray. She worked at the Monongalia County Board of Education for 22 years. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her cat, gardening, camping, fishing and swinging on her porch and watching the birds. She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Gene Davidson; children, Sharon Kennedy, Lee and Dixie Clendenin, Dana and Gary Harr, and Rick and Penny Dailey; siblings, Franklin Murray of Clyde, OH, Freddie Murray of Morgantown, and Loretha Rice of Morgantown; seven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, two sons- in-law, and one sister-in-law. The family would like to thank Morgantown Hospice and Care Partners for their wonderful care and support. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Friday, February 27th from 6-9. Visitation will continue at the Nicholson Chapel Church on Saturday, February 28th from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11 AM with Pastor Norma Stimmell officiating.
