May the family find comfort in loving memories, and in knowing that God is "close to those that are broken at heart; and he saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18) Our loving Creator, Jehovah God, has promised to soon "swallow up death forever...and wipe the tears from all faces." (Isaiah 25:8) With deepest sympathy. I am deeply saddened by the passing of Mrs Drew. I am so sorry for your loss. Know and remember how very lucky you are to have had her in your lives. Out of all the teachers, and many of the people, in my life Mrs Drew was one of the best. While in grade school, she was always so caring tried her best to steer me in the right direction (which wasn't always easy) but I never wanted to disappoint her. Then while in junior high my sister and I were in a car wreck and my sister passed away. Mrs Drew came and sat with me while I was in the hospital for a very long time, even though I was not conscious and did not know she was there. But after I got out of the hospital I was unable to attend my sisters funeral and Mrs Drew and Mrs Oaks came to my home and spent time with me while my family was at the funeral home. To this day that means so much to me. The influence that Mrs Drew had on me will be with me for my lifetime. Rest in peace Mrs Drew. I love you. With tears in my eyes, your family will be in my thoughts.

I was saddened to hear Mrs. Drew passed. She was like a mother to all of her students. Even long after we graduated she still remembered who we where and about our families. She will be missed by all. Prayers being said for the family.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. ~From a headstone in Ireland
My deep condolences to both Mark and Katie.
I will always treasure the memories I have of teaching with your mother at Sabraton Elementary School. Lucille was a valued mentor during my first year of teaching third grade. I will miss the phone conversations we shared during the past few years. May she rest in peace.

I am so sorry that i was unable to offer my condolences in person. I do not get a newspaper, and i never saw the obituary on the site as late as 9:00 this morning. I want you to know how very special you mom was to me. WE had many wonderful outings at the theatre. She also listened to my struggles as a single parent and offered much wisdom to my bank of resources. I hope this will help ease your pain knowing how very wonderful she was in my life.
Love and prayers
