Pete and Family,
Our prayers are with you and your family. I'm sure you've heard it many times, but Sy was truly one of the most unique people I've ever had the pleasure to know and interact with .I often - in the positive sense - view him as 'a character.' His devotion to so many noble causes is virtually unsurpassed. If he was in the room I would always gravitate to him. He was FUN!! The Morgantown community, the Church, Knights of Columbus, Meals on Wheels, among a few, had a great servant in Sy. He will long be remembered. With sympathy, I am,
Your friend,
Mike Buchanan

So sorry to learn of Sylvester's passing. My dad, Val, and I, first met "Sy" about ten years ago, when we started parking at his house for WVU football games. We spent a lot of time with him over the years, and became good friends.
He never failed to put a smile on our faces and always made us laugh. Whether it was the stories he told, or watching him trying to tell people how to park their vehicles, Sy was certainly a character. We'll never forget his kindness and generosity.
I know he'd had a rough time of it, for the past few years, and he often remarked how much he missed his late wife, Virginia, whom we had also met. We will take comfort in knowing he has now been reunited with her, in paradise.
On behalf of myself, and my dad, we would like to convey our heartfelt condolences to Sy's family and friends.
We will miss him terribly.
Sincerely,
Bob & Val Giglio

I am very sorry for the loss of your loved one. Please accept my condolences during this distressing time. Losing a loved one is painful and comfort is needed from family and friends. When the time is right, please do not forget God's Word the Bible where lasting comfort can be found. Revelation 21:4 promises that soon "death will be no more" and all things that cause pain will be done away with. It is my hope your family finds the strength to endure during the days ahead.

MY SINCERE SYMPATHY IN THE LOSS OF YOUR FATHER. HE WAS A PRINCE AMONG MEN. NEVER HAD AN UNKIND WORD AND ALWAYS EXTENDING A HELPING HAND. HE REALLY HATED GIVING UP PICKING UP AND DELEVERING BAKED GOODS TO THE NEEDY, HE GOT A STRAIGHT TICKET TO HEAVEN. GOD WILL BE WELCOMING HIM WITH OPENED ARMS. Barbara Snyder

Sylvester was a fun loving generous man.I didn't meet him until 1992 when I married into the Dinardi Family. He always came to visit bearing gifts and on route to one volunteer errand or another. He was seldom without a funny story or a mischievous joke! His laugh was easy and infectious. My favorite memory was when he made wonderful official signs saying "Noah and Kyle s Towing service" for a ride in truck my young twin boys had just got. I know I missed the best of his years so I know those of you who knew him much better will really miss him and have many wonderful memories to cherish and comfort you in the months to come.
