May the family find comfort in your loving memories, and in knowing that God is "near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit He saves." (Psalm 34:18) Our loving Creator, Jehovah God, has promised to soon "swallow up death forever...and wipe the tears from all faces." (Isaiah 25:8) With deepest sympathy.

Mary and family,
Fred and I were Mining Engineering graduates in the WVU class of 1956. Russ Mechling and I stopped in to visit with Fred just last week and we are both so glad we made the effort to pay respects to such a good friend. Fred was an excellent student and even a better person. We celebrate the meaningful life of Fred H. Miller. William D. Allen, BSEM "56" ..

Uncle Fred was one of the greatest men I've ever known. So thankful for the time I had with him. He always made me feel loved. So saddened by the loss. He will be missed, but his life will be forever felt in all who knew him.

Dear Mary, Anna, Todd and all the Fred Miller family: Although I did not work directly for Fred, I was a management team member of North American Coal and came in contact with him frequently during my career. I found him to be honest, helpful, and caring in his dealings with his fellow workers and, most of all, a gentleman. My thanks to him for his service to our Country and his dedication to the coal industry. My sincere best wishes to all of you. Jerry Mountain

Liz & Miller Family,
I was heartbroken for you and your family when you told me that your Dad had passed. From the stories that you shared with me, I came to understand what a wonderful father and husband Fred Hunter Miller has been. I know it is hard to lose a parent, but we know he is no longer suffering and he is in the arms of God.
Maybe the Lord be with you all at this difficult time. My prayer is that you find the strength to carry on the legacy he left for you.
Love

My deepest condolences to the entire Miller family. Fred was a man of great integrity, soft spoken, always gave assistance to others and a true man of faith plus an avid WVU fan.
I worked with Fred at NACCO and he always had a smile on his face and had an inner compass that was always pointed at making the best decision for safety and his employees.
He will be sadly missed by everyone. God bless his spirit.
