Just learned of Brother Tom's passing. We're so glad we knew him on this side of glory.
Yes, that "smile" was his trade mark.
I remember him as a great husband, father, and a man with a "big" heart who loved the Lord.
We just learned of his "home going" today, July 29, 2015.
With much Christian love and sympathy, we are sorry for your loss.

Remembering and saddened by the loss of Tom. We were married for eight years and shared a child, a beautiful daughter, Donna Sue. I pray his journey will be peaceful and kind. R.I.P., Tom. Sleep with the Angels in the arms of God May the ones he left behind be granted comfort and peace at this most difficult time.

Cynthia and family--I'm so very sorry to hear about your dad's passing. I only met him one or two times, but he was a lovely, sweet man. He will live on in the memories of those who loved him. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

You will hear one day that I have died, but do not believe it for I will be more alive than I have ever been before! (1cor15:55 oh death where is your sting) (Christ Jesus destroyed death 1tim1:10) Tom was a vigilant warrior who endured great hardship and great triumph. He was born in a small coal mining town and grew up working hard. His determination learned as a young man continued throughout his life. He was a state wrestling champ in WV! He influenced many in a positive way. His never say never attitude ,larger than life personality and great sense of humor was very encouraging. Tom followed Jesus and was sustained by the promises of God. (provb18:14 a mans spirit sustains him in sickness.) Only because he gave his life to Christ was he a loving positive man. (Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation 2cor5:17) Even at the very end when he was so weak he was unable to speak he would smile and chuckle a little. That is how I want to finish my life. He was my father, my friend and my Hero! I am so glad that he was my dad. (acts4:10Salvation is found in no one else) Jesus only

Your smile and laugh I will never forget.
Though many burdens had been placed on your life. Through them all you magnified the Lord
May God's love and peace be with your family
2 Corinthians 12:9 And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
