Mildred Fern Warren, 99, of Morgantown, West Virginia, started her new life on July 14, 2015. Mrs. Warren was born in Arnold, Pennsylvania on October 29, 1915. Before settling in Morgantown after her husband’s death, Mrs. Warren was a long-time resident of Palmetto, Florida, where she worked for the United States Government selling airplane parts until her retirement. Mrs. Warren also was an accomplished artist and for many years a dedicated volunteer at the Rosenbaum House in Morgantown. Mrs. Warren was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Warren, who passed away November 13, 1996. She also was preceded in death by her children, Lawrence Ray Harmon, of Arlington, Virginia, who died January 3, 2014, and Betty Mae Harmon, of Morgantown, who died March 27, 2015. A special thank you is in order to Mrs. Warren’s caretakers, Tina Lynn and Barbara Lincoln, who provided excellent care to Mrs. Warren and ensured her and her children’s wishes that she remain in her home.
