Jim was one of my best friends for more than 40 years. We attended high school together, lived in the same community, served in the same VFD, and graduated with Aerospace Engineering degrees from WVU in 1980. Jim and I had many fun and interesting times together. I will always treasure those memories. Vickie and I visited Jim almost every time we returned to WV in the past 35 years. It was always such a joy to see him again and catch up on old times. We would always talk about his daughter Katie and learn about their last exciting vacation adventure or the latest news in her life. He was so proud of her. Jim was a wonderful and caring person and we will miss him dearly. Trips to WV will not be the same any more without the opportunity to visit him. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this time of sorrow and adjustment.

Jim was a pleasure to work with. In all my encounters with him he always had a positive disposition and would be quick to share a smile and laugh during our interactions. The work place won't be the same without him.
