I send you my deepest sympathy in the loss of your
beloved John. I wanted to come today to express that
in person, but now I find that I cannot. May God comfort
you and give you peace. John lived a rich life and touched
the lives of so many people.

John was such a kind and gentle presence at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Morgantown. He was the greatest advocate for respecting human and religious diversity. He always reminded us of the importance of respecting and listening to one another. I miss him, as do many others.
I do not know his children, but I know how much he admired them. my very best to them and Judith. All my love Beth
My wife and I are very sorry to learn about Dr. Hall's illness and death. He was a true Renaissance man. I was fortunate to be Dr. Hall's student both in graduate school and then medical school. His fascination with parasitology came through in his teaching. We were honored to have Dr. Hall as a guest at our wedding. Please know that you will remain in our thoughts during this time of loss.
Dr. John Hall played an essential role in many areas at the WVU Health Sciences Center, including the establishment of our Clinical Tropical Medicine and Traveler's Health Course, which draws health care providers from all over the world to WVU. This teaching activity, and John's many other contributions, ensure that his rich legacy lives on at WVU through the many lives he continues to impact. My condolences on your loss.

I'm very sorry to read of Dr Hall's passing. I was one of his many students in parasitology and benefitted from his expertise in the lab at WVU Student Health. He had such a wealth of knowledge and very graciously shared it with everyone. He will be missed.
Mrs. Hall, I learned of John's death today through the OLLI Bulletin. I have been so occupied with my wife's medical problems that I missed his obituary. I first met John when I was practicing pediatrics and consulted him regarding an unusual medical problem involving insects. I got to know him better through OLLI. He will be missed by the Morgantown community. Summers Harrison
