My deepest sympathy goes out to the Wilson family. I worked with Betty for many years at the WVU Admissions Office. I always considered her a wonderful friend and coworker. She always had a smile on her face and I'm sure will be missed my many. God bless all of you as you go through this very difficult time in your lives.

I am devastated to hear about Aunt Betty. She was one of the sweetest people I have ever met, if not THE sweetest. My memories of her are so full of happiness and love. And I could even call her my life-saver. When I was four years old I jumped in a pool of water without a life jacket. I grabbed onto Stephanie, who had one on, but had to let go because I was pulling her under also. I vividly remember standing on the bottom of the pool, looking up. I could see that Aunt Betty was walking frantically back and forth and yelling and gesturing. She had seen me under the water and raised the alarm. Someone jumped in and pulled me out. It frightened and traumatized me so much that I learned to swim very well soon after that. So you could say that my children and I owe our lives to Aunt Betty. If I had not lived, they would never have been born. She also gave me the best marriage advice I ever received. I was in my early twenties with two sons. Aunt Betty and I were talking at the Lake Summit cottage in N.C. She told me to always WORK at my marriage. I had been married since I was eighteen and had never heard of this before. I have always remembered it and am still married to Chris after forty-seven years. You Wilson children were so blessed to have had such great parents and it shows in your wonderful personalities and morals. I know Aunt Betty believed in Jesus and the Bible. At John 5:28 Jesus tells us not to be amazed because the time will come when God will call out all those in the memorial tombs and will resurrect them. It will be wonderful to again see Aunt Betty and Uncle Johnny and my parents and EVERYONE who has died. My heartfelt condolences to all of you. Love, Paula Jane Yost Dillmore
