Harold Eugene Groves, 91, of Morgantown, went home to be with the Lord Monday, September 14, 2015 at Point Marion Personal Care Home of Pt. Marion, PA.
Harold Eugene was born on July 4, 1924, the son of the late William Troy Groves and the late Ester (Hardesty) Groves.
Harold attended the First Church of the Nazarene.
He is survived by five sisters, one brother, one son, Dr. Stephen Groves and wife Melaine Groves of Bridgeport, WV; and one daughter, Rebecca A. Davis and husband James W. Davis II of Berkley Springs, WV; grandchildren, Mary Beth Stonebraker and husband Colton, Chelsea Davis, Jon-Luc Davis, Stephen Groves II; and greatgrandson, Gaige Davis Stonebraker.
In addition to his parents, Harold is preceded in death by his grandson, James Davis III; and his wife, Oleda G. Groves.
Harold Eugene served in the Army.
