Betty Lee Champine, 87, of Morgantown, passed away Monday, October 5, 2015, at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Monongalia County, WV on July 7, 1928, the daughter of the late Gary Edward Linger and Lilia Mae (Flowers) Linger.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and who enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by son; Steve Champine, daughters; Shirley Crabtree and husband John, Theresa Hodge and husband Roger; grandchildren, Jason Crabtree and wife Christina, Johnna McDonald and her companion Ronald Tenney, and Randall “Randy” Champine, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Jada, Kyle, Kara, Gia, JJ and Lorenzo.; brother Clark “Junior” Linger and wife Jerry, brother Roger and wife Kay Linger, sister Mary Stump, and sister Geraldine and husband Joe Bubnick
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Randall Champine and her son Randall “Skip” Champine, as well as brothers Roy and Charles Linger.
Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Friday, October 9 from 9am until the time of the funeral service will be held at 11am with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Interment will follow in Pisgah Cemetery, Morgantown.
