George L. Comp, 84, of Reedsville, WV passed away Sunday, December 13, 2015, with his loving wife and daughter by his side. He was born in Star City,WV on March 7th, 1931; son of the late Lee Comp and the late Della Tasker Comp. George worked as a building and excavating contractor and loved helping his friends, family, and especially his church and congregation with his many skills. George enjoyed the outdoors, and loved to play a card game called “Set Back” everyone enjoyed his quick witted humor and his ability to make them smile. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Hattie Mae Strahin Comp, daughters, Cynthia Teixeira, and Bonnie Baugman, son Jack Comp and wife Wendy; grandsons, Michael Comp, Mickey Comp, David Doney, John Doney and Joey Penfold; granddaughters, Jennifer Westfal, Crystal, Doney and Alice Osborne, and several nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by son, Lawrence G. Comp; brothers, Clifford “Buck”, Albert and Allen; sisters Virginia and Evelyn. A memorial service will be held at the Morgantown Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 379 Smithtown Road, Morgantown December 26th 2015 at 2:00p.m. Everyone Welcome
