Donna L. Johnson, 66, of Morgantown, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2016, at Martha's Manor. She was born in Morgantown on October 22, 1949, the daughter of Delmar Woods of Morgantown and the late Bernice (Mathess) Woods. She was a cook for several years at local nursing homes. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her father she is survived by her husband of 21 years, William “Chuck’ Johnson: her children, Wendy Loughry of Wheeling, Vanessa Downey and husband, Charles “JR” of Morgantown, Dawn Casteel and husband Les of Morgantown and Denny Fullmer and wife Erin of Morgantown; sister, Evelyn Henderson and husband Dale; brother, Delmar “Ted” Woods and wife Candy of Morgantown; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Leslie Downey at Martha’s Manor, The Madison nursing home and to her loving niece, Tammy Coker. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home. 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown Thursday, January 14th from 9am until the time of the service at 11a.m with Pastor Sean Wightman officiating. Interment will follow in West Virginia National Cemetery, Pruntytown.
