I had the pleasure of helping your Mother knit mittens for her family. She is a very special lady. I fell in love with her beautiful stone house & enjoyed some of her baking & cooking. She never let anything slow her down. She always talked about her family. Very proud of all of you. I am sorry I did not have the opportunity to see her in the last couple years. I always looked forward to helping her work with her projects. Another Angel in Heaven. Your family has my deepest sympathy.

I had the pleasure of continuing the correspondences with Anita for the years after my mother Bertha Chico Bartlett passed away. I shall miss her delightful cards at Christmas. She was a lovely lady.
May God bring peace and comfort to your hearts.

My heartfelt sympathy to John, Tara and family. I will always remember the kindness that Mrs. Lewis showed to me, opening her home and serving those delicious meals when I was a student at WVU College of Law. Mrs. Lewis lead by example and her amazing life will long remain an inspiration to others.

So many wonderful memories of you Aunt Anita. 3 wonderful trips to Italy, sitting in your kitchen listening to you tell family stories over coffee, family breakfasts after Sunday mass at Cummuntzies, or Bob Evans or Jambies, police department Christmas parties at the old Marilla park center, yes I knew Uncle John played Santa occasionally, the pies you baked for us every Thanksgiving and Christmas, the hand tailored clothes you made for me, my favorite Italian dinners you made when I would visit from Ocean City.
You are a kind, generous and loving woman and I will cherish each memory of you. I will miss you, love Karen

Anita was a good friend to our family. My father Kenneth Bolyard built her and John a house and they remained friend until his passing in 2011. My husband Ed and I will always remember her kindness and the delicious cookies and candy she delivered to us every year. May her memory be a blessing to her whole family

My deepest and sincere condolences to the family of Anita Lewis. A lady for all seasons. What else is there to say. Anita touched a lot of people and always had kind words for everyone. She enjoyed life to the fullest. In the 30 or so years that I knew her she always had a smile and viewed the glass of life as half full not half empty. She will be missed by everyone who knew her, especially her family.
