Genevieve Stetz Conn, 83, of Reedsville (formerly of Morgantown), passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Lumberport, WV on October 11, 1932, the daughter of the late Louis Stetz, Sr. and Beatrice (Konopko) Stetz . She was a graduate of Mannington High School and attended Fairmont State University and was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. She worked at Westinghouse and also retired from West Virginia University. Mrs. Conn is survived by her children: Patrick Conn and his wife Mary Ellen and Kathleen Cesa and her husband James; siblings: Frances Stetz and Viola Dowd and her husband Bill; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Conn; siblings, Louis Stetz, Jr. Agnes Stetz and Josephine Mapes. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hastings Funeral Home in Morgantown. Friends and family will be received at St. John University Parish, 1481 University Ave., Morgantown, on Monday, March 14th from 10 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM with Father Jeremiah Lange, OSB as celebrant. Entombment will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Animal Friends of NCWV, PO Box 1090, Dellslow, WV 26531.
