Helen Mayor, 93, of Morgantown died March 12, 2016, at Monongalia General Hospital.
She was born October 19, 1922, in Cheat Neck, WV, the daughter of the late John and Anna Ozetich Storey.
Helen was a member of the Morgantown Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses for 76 years where she was active in the volunteer Bible education ministry until her death.
She is survived by daughter, Barbara Mayor, of Morgantown; son and wife William and Danita Mayor, of Bruceton Mills, WV; grandson and wife, Alex and Paula Mayor, of Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada; granddaughter and husband Jill and Dean Kerr, of North Hills - Pittsburgh, PA. Also surviving are great granddaughter, Allison Mayor; great grandsons, Cooper and Crosby Mayor.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Charles Mayor. Also preceding her in death were 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
Hastings Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. A memorial service will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 379 Smithtown Road, Morgantown, on Saturday, March 19, at 3 pm.
Private burial will take place at Lawnwood Cemetery.
